MUSIC IN THE PARK
On the first Wednesday of the month at 6pm. Shelter 1, Sam Peden Community Park, 3037 Grant Line Road, New Albany, IN. BRING A CHAIR!
- May 7th: The Community Music Alliance Orchestra presents a concert of music from Star Wars and other space-related movies and TV shows.
- June 4th: Keltricity. A Celtic World band that features contemporary, traditional and eclectic Celtic music from Ireland, Cape Breton, Scotland, England, Brittany, New England, French Canada and more – feet-moving repertoire that spans centuries.
- July 2nd: River Cities Concert Band. Note that this concert will be held at Kevin Hammersmith Park, and will begin at 6:30pm.
- August 6th: Community Music Alliance Choir. Accompanied by 4-piece band, the choir presents a program of popular favorites.
- September 3rd: Erin Hill. Erin Hill brings a sweet and expressive voice to her performances, with songs reminiscent of Kate Bush. Experience the beautiful sounds of the electric harp set to creative indie pop and rock music. She has traveled the world, performing and singing with Cyndi Lauper, Enya, Sinead O’Connor, and Josh Groban. Note that the rain day for this concert will be September 4th.
- October 1st: Terry Ridley and his Million Dollar Band. Terry Ridley and his band combine the electric stage presence and powerful vocals of the young Elvis Presley with the showmanship and piano precision of Jerry Lee Lewis to produce an unbeatable reincarnation of everything that was exciting about the 1950s.

STUDENT SHOWCASE
Sunday June 29th, 7pm. St. Marks United Church of Christ, 222 E. Spring St., New Albany, IN.
We’re proud to offer local high school students the opportunity to showcase the songs they’ve been diligently preparing – performed live with the accompaniment of an orchestra.
Featuring songs by Handel, Scarlatti, César Franck and others, and concerti by Telemann and Goltermann.

September 5th: Bourbon & Brass Company
A vibrant brass ensemble that performs arrangements of classical, jazz, and standards.

October 3rd: Toni Green
Toni Green has mesmerized audiences all around the world, being honored as the “International Queen of Blues.”
Her multifaceted career continues to inspire and captivate audiences worldwide, solidifying her legacy as a true icon in the realm of Soul and Blues. She is accompanied in this concert by Owen Heritage on piano.

November 7th: April Rodriguez
We discovered the striking and versatile vocals of local singer April Rodriguez at one of our weekly jam sessions. You will be thrilled with her rendition of songs by Wynonna, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride and others. Accompanied by Owen Heritage on piano.

December 5th: Christmas concert and singalong
Our December tradition – this year, the Clarksville High School Choir joins with members of the Community Music Alliance Choir and Orchestra to present a program of holiday favorites.
